On 9 January 2020 Thai FLEGT Subcommittee has the first meeting of this year to considerate the draft of annexes 5 and 6 on Thai Timber Legality Assurance System (THA-TLAS) and Supply Chain Control (SCC). The draft adopted by the meeting and ready to propose in the Thai FLEGT Negotiation Committee which will hold shortly to prepare a negotiation with the EU that will arrange in March of this year. The draft annexes have prepared from the multi-stakeholders discussion under the FLEGT VPA process to reflect the actual situation and possible solution to improve a timber trade process in the country. This meeting chairs by the RFD’ inspector, Mr Tawatchai Ladkrud. There is 30 participants who are 17 male and 13 female from relevant stakeholders.
