On 17th May 2019, the Video Conference between Thai and the European Union was arranged at the EU Delegation, 10th floor Athinee Tower, Bangkok. The Conference led by Mr. Atthapol Charoenchansa, Director General of the Royal Forest Department from the Thai side, and Mrs. Helene Perier, the EU focal point, act as a key representative from the EU.
This meeting aimed to provide technical discussion and updates on the development of FLEGT VPA annexes. As well as showing participatory process and the harmonization of policy, presentation from various sectors, and relevant regulations. Therefore, there is a conclusion in determining the period of roadmap in order to preparation the next JEM and NEG meeting.
