On 9 July 2018, Thai – EU FLEGT Secretariat Office (TEFSO) had arranged a meeting for the sub-working group on legality definition (LD) at TEFSO meeting room on 13.30 – 16.00 PM. The meeting led by Ms.Pavinee Udommai a consultant on legality definition (LD) revision.

This meeting aimed to discuss and bring resolution toward LD-Matrix revision approaches and its examples. The consultant proposed to restructure the legality definition annex by dividing into 3 parts; that are 1) how-to description and objectives, 2) definitions, and 3) description of any operators. Moreover, the principles were suggested to reorganise to be in accordance with actual duty as well as with the supply chain controls. However, the meeting agreed that the Ms.Pavinee could be able to start revising on some part along with discussing with relevant agencies. The whole revision could be proposed to the ad-hoc working group for further process.
