Joint Meeting for discussing on the possibility in connecting tractability process with other timber species

On 6th February 2018, FAO-EU FLEGT Programme invited the representative from Information Center, Forest Checkpoint, Forest Certification Office, and the director of TEFSO together with Mr.Jérôme Laporte (an expert in wood traceability system) for discussing on the possibility to connect the traceability process with other timber species (etc. rubber and eucalyptus)

According to the discussion, private sector requested in financial support from FAO for NSW and e-tree system development. Also, in the afternoon , Mr. Jérôme Laporte gave a presentation and shared some lessons and experiences regarding wood tracking system implementation in Ecuador, Benin and Cameroon to TLAS sub-working group and a sub-working group of unregulated species on private land.
