Thailand has provided the Legal Definition (LD) under FLEGT  VPA process. The total of Ad-Hoc Working group meeting on LD which has been arranged by TEFSO was 11 times. Therefore The Royal Forest Department(RFD) has submitted draft LD to EU 2 times; the first LD has been submitted to EU on March,2015 and the second LD has been submitted to EU on  15 July 2016.

On 24th August 2016, TEFSO arranged The Ad-Hoc Working group meeting  on LD no.4/2016 at Maruay Garden Hotel, Bangkok, There are 37 participants attended , Mr.Pralong Damrongthai DDG of RFD was chairman of the meeting.

The meeting aimed to consider and revising LD base on the formal comment from EU, and furthermore reply the question which noticed by EU. The last session of the meeting, TEFSO consulted  Ad-Hoc working group about “Mini-field test” of the draft Legality Definition for discussion by the AHWG which will be arranged on September, 2016.
