On 21st August 2018, there had been a discussion of the legality definition sub-working group occurred at TEFSO meeting room, Thai – EU FLEGT Secretariat Office (TEFSO). The meeting led by Mr Vicharn Sensakul, the sub-working group leader, together with Ms Pavinee Udommai, the consultant of legality definition revision and demanded to coordinately revise the messages within the legality definition document.

During the meeting, the better understanding and clarification regarding verification procedures for logging on preserved forest and forest plantation, based on Forestry Act and Plantation Act, had been discussed. The discussion started with the request of plantation registration, harvesting and logging, until its transportation. The meeting also discussed and list the verifiers which are all required documents throughout the supply chain controls and verifying agencies which are governmental agencies and related organisations with authorities in checking, detecting, and issuance in each step.
