On 18th June 2018, Thai – EU FLEGT Secretariat Office (TEFSO) had organized the 4th/2018 Ad-Hoc Working Group Meeting at Ping Wang Meeting Room, Ramada Maenam Riverside Hotel, Bangkok. For this meeting, Mr.Uthapol Charoenchansa, the Deputy General of Thai Royal Forest Department, acts as the chairman.

This meeting aimed to prepare Thai side for the EFI mission between Thailand and the EU by European Forest Institute (EFI). During the meeting, Ms. Pavinee Udommai provided updates on Revision of Legality Definition Document along with updating on  VPA Legal Text comments by Forest Certification, RFD. Within this meeting, Thai Timber Association had a chance to provide their updates on Import Control document as they had just been being the leader of the LD Sub-Working group. However, the updates on Unregulated Species on Private Land was also provided by the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) as well as the updates on TLAS documents which was presented to the meeting by the Forest Certification Office.

Besides, at the end of the meeting, they were requested to develop and fill in associated information in a table describing relations of verification details. This session led by Ms. Somruedee Nicrowatanayingyong, the EU FLEGT Facility. The related members were kindly urged to study and fill in all information in the table. This was to prepare for the discussion and meeting with the EFI in the day after.
