On 17 May 2018, a sub-working group meeting over unregulated species on private land was arranged at TEFSO meeting room. The meeting was led by the Federation of Thai Industries, the sub-working group leader over unregulated species on private land issue. The meeting aimed to discuss and revise on the document regarding implementation guideline of Non- Restricted Timber Under M.7 according to the EU’s comments during the Third Joint Expert Meeting (JEM3) held on 21-22 March 2018.

During the meeting, the working group had discussed over self-declaration (SD) in case that the M.7 under Forestry Act will be revised. Also, they discussed to better understand the E-Tree system as well as its linkage with the self-declaration, and the linkage between self-declaration and RFD Single Window. Moreover, the participants had together revised wordings within the documents and added more relevant details. These were in order to better fulfill the complement of the document.
