On 24th May 2018, Thailand’s sub-working group under VPA Legal Text hold their first meeting at TEFSO meeting room.

The meeting aimed to go over the draft document of Thai VPA Legal Text which proposed by the EU. This was in order to collect and prepare some remaining inquiries and opinions which might need to be discussed and make clear with EU’s representatives. However, this meeting was only a brief meeting without any revision on the draft document. For all inquiries and opinions, they will be later collected and brought into discussion during the next Fourth Joint Expert Meeting (JEM4) and the Second Negotiation (NEG2) between Thailand and the European Union.
