On March 6, 2019, Thai Royal Forest Department had arranged the Thai International Timber Trade Committee Meeting at Reforestation Promotion meeting room, 4th Floor, Royal Forest Department (RFD), Thailand.

The meeting led by Mr. Poramin Wongsuwatt, the deputy general of RFD and participants were from Thai government agencies and related stakeholders.

The meeting aimed to discuss over the Royal Forest regulation in issuance of timber certification and including timber products and wood coal. This meeting showed the good participatory of Thai stakeholders in forest sector of Thailand which stands out not only in the FLEGT VPA process but also the participatory during the legality reformation process in Thailand from its start until before its implementation.
