On 23-24 March 2017, TEFSO and RFD officers attended “PEFC CoC Training and Workshop” at the head office of the Rubber Authority of Thailand.
Mr.Richard Laity, Project and Development Consultant of PEFC International, the lecturer, introduced “The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification : PEFC” which is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) through certification and labeling on wood and wood products as FSC, including lectured on Chain Of Custody (CoC) and Due Diligence System (DDS) procedures. On this occasion, Mr. Banjong Wongsrisoontorn, Director of TEFSO, received accolade to be the lecturer, to present FLEGT implementation in Thailand as well.
