As the cooperation of working group to draft the Legality Definition many times in the past, cause to Royal Forest Department can submitted the first draft of Legality Definition to EU on 14th March 2015. The EU Commission had received the draft and send the comment back to Thailand on 24th April 2015 inclduing to some questioning on Thai legality in the draft. Therefore, Thai-EU Secretariat Office (TEFSO) had arranged the working group meeting to revise and answer the question from EU on Legality Definition at Louis Tavern Hotel, Bangkok on 29th April 2015.
On 11th May 2015, Dr.Somrudee Nicro, EU FLEGT Facility Consultant and Mr.Sebastian Schrader, EU-FLEGT Asia Consultant from EFI had arranged the meeting between EFI and Ad-Hoc working group that including to representative from 3 stakeholders such as government, private and civil society sectors. This meeting was an informal technical meeting aimed to open opportunity to Thai working group to ask the question on the comment of LD from EU including to discussion on the legality and process of negotiation FLEGT VPA.
