The Federation of Thai Industries held a meeting with Sub-Working Group of FLEGT VPA on November 25th, 2019 to talk and develop the Self-Declaration form. The participants have agreed to develop the form by adding rules and regulations, covering from where the timbers were being cut to transportation to its final destination. To make sure that the harvesters have been following rules and regulations according to Self-Declaration legislative system.

     Furthermore, the participants have agreed to have further study on the topic of high risk and low risk timbers, to find mitigations. The representative of Royal Forest Department will bring the issue and present them in ad-hoc working group meeting. Whereas the working group would be follow up the outcome of the department.  

     The participants of the groups are consisted of governments, private sectors, and civil societies. Where a representative of a civil society has left some question for the meeting group to considered.
